Midland F1 Racing was a racing team as well as a F1 constructor. The F1 team was founded after the owner of the Midland Group, Alex Shnaider, acquired Jordan GP in 2005 and named it Midland F1 Racing.
The team's debut was at the 2006 Bahrain GP and its final race was at the 2006 Brazilian GP. After competing in 18 races, the team was sold to Spyker cars in September 2006 to race as Spyker F1 but was later sold again in 2008 and was renamed Force India F1.
