Daihatsu started as Hatsudoki Seizo Co. founded in March 1st, 1907, a manufacturer of internal-combustion engines. The first car model released by the company was the HA, launched in 1930. It was followed in the next year by the HB Model and 6 years later by a small four-wheel car, the FA Model.
