The Mitsubishi Motors Corporation debuted the Mitsubishi Concept Global Small at the Geneva International Motor Show 2011. The vehicle was developed to embody compactness, affordability and high fuel efficiency and is the predecessor for a new compact passenger car, planned to go into production by spring 2012.

The Mitsubishi Concept Global Small offers easy manoeuvrability and operation and efficient use of the compact space, seating up to five adults. Mitsubishi also claims high fuel efficiency for the small vehicle, thanks to features such as an idling stop mechanism, a A 1.0 – 1.2L class compact engine, regenerative braking system, reduced aerodynamic resistance and weight.
