Launched in 1975, the BMW 3 Series is a compact executive car manufactured by the German automaker BMW. The model is the successor of the BMW New Class and has had five different generations and the same number of bodystyles; it was built in sedan, convertible, estate, 5-door hatchback and coupé variants.
