In October 1962, Mitsubishi Motors launched the first micro car named MINICA, based on the Mitsubishi 360Mitsubishi 360 LT 23 DJapan, 1968 > present. The MINICA reached a maximum speed of 86km/h and had a fuel economy of 26km/l with its air-cooled 360 cc 2-stroke-four-banger engine that could develop 17 horsepower.

It featured a self-cancelled turn signal indicator and auto-stop wiper, ornaments of side mould and a chrome coated grill.
