The Chevrolet Colorado is a mid-size pickup truck launched in 2004.

The model replaced the Chevrolet S-10 and GMC Sonoma compact pickups. Isuzu sells the model since 2005 under its own brand as "i-Series".

The Chevrolet Colorado is available with both manual and automatic transmissions as well as rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive drive. It is offered with standard, extended, and four-door crew cab body styles.

In 2007 the first generation Colorado received a facelift and new engines including a 2.9 L LLV I4 and a 3.7 L LLR I5. In 2009, the Colorado was facelifted again and a 5.3 L (323 cu in) LH8 V8 engine was added to the line-up.
