The GMC Terrain is a compact crossover SUV marketed since 2010. The 4-door vehicle has a front engine, front- or four-wheel drive layout and replaced the Pontiac Torrent with which it shares the Theta platform. The Terrain is located below the Acadia in the GMC line-up and is the brand's smallest SUV. The GMC Terrain nameplate is also used to market the Opel Antara in the Middle East.
