The Bentley Mulsanne Speed is a more powerful version of the flagship model of the British luxury brand. Developed focusing on the driver the Mulsanne Speed has 537hp and 1100Nm of torque, a selectable sport suspension and steering on demand.
In the center of the top version Mulsanne is an updated 6.75-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. Thanks to it the Mulsanne Speed can reach 100km/h in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 305km/h. Despite the increased output of this version, Bentley still managed to increase efficiency by 13% through the use of cylinder deactivation technology that allows the vehicle to drive as if equipped with a V4 engine.
The engine of the Mulsanne Speed was combined with a recalibrated automatic eight-speed ZF transmission. The vehicle also includes an "S" mode that gives the driver more control over the vehicle and keeps the engine speed at 2000rpm, allowing for a more immediate throttle response.
