Yaris Hybrid Coming to Geneva

The North American International Motor Show is not even open to the public yet, but automakers are already announcing cars that will be at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Among them, will be the Toyota Yaris Hybrid.

The Yaris Hybrid fills the same niche as the just-announced Prius C will in the US. It will be a smaller, cheaper B-segment hybrid. The Yaris Hybrid has a slightly changed exterior that makes it appear more Prius-like, especially in the nose.

Toyota did not announce much about the Yaris Hyrbid. The car will produce 100hp and have very low CO2 emissions, but Toyota did not announce specifics for the emissions or fuel economy.

The Yaris Hybrid will be released shortly after the car is revealed in Geneva in March.

Yes, it looks great. Surely the Prius philosophy will be used in more future models.

So the Prius C won't make it to Europe?
