, Alfa’s press people revealed future plans for the company’s latest sports car.

The first change is relatively obvious when you look at the car, and that is that Alfa is planning a targa version of the 4C by simply making the roof of the car removable. The small area between the windshield and B-pillar is not providing much extra structural support, and Alfa will offer a version where it can be removed.

The insect-like headlights of the production 4C have been criticized, and Alfa Romeo knows it. It is planning to change them soon to more traditional headlights as seen on the concept version.

Finally, the company is working on a higher performance version of the 4C, but the press people are remaining tight-lipped about the car for the moment. They say it will be more tuned to track driving, but that is all for now.
