Buick is updating the seven-passenger Enclave for 2013 with changes to the exterior and interior.
The exterior gets LED daytime running lights and LED tail lights and new HID headlights. The hood has been slightly redesigned with a new black chrome grill. The rear now has integrated exhaust outlets. Also the wheels have been redesigned with 19in wheels being standard and 20in wheels being optional.
Inside there is new LED accent lighting 8-way power adjustable front seats with 4-way adjustable headrests. Buick has worked to use more soft touch materials in the cabin to make it look more luxurious that also incorporates more chrome accents. The center stack has also been redesigned with three-zone climate zone controls and IntelliLink LCD display with capacitive touch screen and navigation.
Mechanically, the car remains nearly identical. Buick engineers have re-tuned the suspension dampers front and rear to give a quieter, smoother ride. The Enclave still comes with a 3.6l direct-injected V6 with 288hp and 270lb-ft of torque and a six-speed automatic transmission. Either front- or all-wheel drive are available. Front-wheel drive models get 17mpg city and 24mpg highway, and all-wheel drive models use 16mpg city and 22mpg highway.
The updated Enclave goes on sale this fall and will be shown at the New York Motor Show.
