New Jensen Interceptor Coming in 2014

CPP Global Holdings Ltd who also owns Bowler and who is in talks to buy Spyker has announced that it will produce a new Jensen Interceptor in 2014. CPP plans to show the prototype Interceptor in late 2012. The car will be produced by CPP at a new factory in Coventry, England.

CPP did not announce what will power the new Interceptor or how much it will cost.

The original Jensen Interceptor was made from 1966 to 1976. It was powered at first by a 6.3 liter Chrysler V8 and later with a 7.2 liter Chrysler V8. The most powerful Interceptor used the 7.2 liter V8 with three two-barrel carburetors making 390hp.

CPP has set up a web site for the new Jensen information is still scant.

If the purchase of Spyker goes through, it might have a ready supply of 4.0 liter V8s to place into this.
