. That should make it roughly 300kg lighter, and it will get a completely revised suspension. These upgrades will likely increase the price by about 10% over the current car.
In Europe, the entry-level model will be a V6 diesel with 255hp and 442lb-ft of torque, and the top model will be the supercharged V8 with 504hp and 461lb-ft. The hybrid diesel V6 that Land Rover will debut in the standard Range Rover next year will also eventually be available in the Sport.
Because it uses the same monocoque, styling for the Sport is quite similar to the standard Range Rover. The doors and windshield will be the same, but Land Rover will resculpt the rest of the car.
Expect to see the car to go on sale late in the year because Land Rover has already revealed the model year 2013 Range Rover Sport.
