with an exhibit at its museum, and the 911 will be the Central Feature of this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 11-14. Porsche will also create this year’s sculpture for the Goodwood Festival with a focus on the 911.

Porsche has built over 820,000 911s since the car’s introduction in 1963. It will have each generation on display at Goodwood and special cars from its history as well. The Porsche Museum will bring several rare cars for the weekend. Porsche estimates that the 911 has scored 30,000 race wins in the last 50 years, and 911 racecars will play a prominent role at Goodwood.

From June 4 to September 29, the Porsche Museum will have its own exhibit focusing on the 911.

“The 911 is the only car you could drive on an African safari or at Le Mans, to the theatre or through New York City traffic,” said designer Ferry Porsche.

The Porsche Museum will also send a 1967 911Porsche 911TGermany, 1967 > present1 photo
on a tour to important car shows around the world including Pebble Beach, Shanghai, Goodwood, Paris and Australia.

The Porsche Museum will also release an exclusive book called “911x911” that covers the history and development of the 911.
