about this car
The Niro was revealed at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Niro is a small, two-door crossover with forward-hinged doors and Kia’s corporate face. It has chunky styling that makes it look off-road-ready, but most buyers will likely only see it get a little muddy, as it is meant for urban dwellers. The concept is painted in high gloss black with stainless steel trim.
The interior is quite sparse with seats that appear to come from a single mold and as few buttons as possible.
The Niro was designed at Kia’s European Design Center in Frankfurt and is meant as a European-oriented model.
