Making its official debt at the 2007 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the Nissan Rogue is a compact crossover SUV produced by Japanese automaker Nissan.

Launched in 2007 as model year 2008 the Nissan Rogue is the North American counterpart of the X-Trail sold outside North America , as well as the Qashqai in Europe and the Dualis in Japan and Australia.

The Nissan Rogue is based on Nissan's C platform, which it shares with the X-Trail model.
