Introduced in the market in 2011, the Opel Insignia 2.0 CDTI Edition Active Select is the 1st generation of the executive model. The model variant is powered by a front-mounted diesel 1956cc engine with a power output of 130 hp at 4000 rpm and a maximum torque of 300 nm. This front wheel drive version has a manual transmission with a 6-speed gearbox. The car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in 11.2 seconds at a maximum speed of 204 km/h. In terms of efficiency, the executive's combined fuel consumption is fixed at 5.6 l/100km. This version of the Insignia features rack & pinion steering, and it wears disc brakes.
