Picchio was born in 1989 when a group of friends, with the help of Giotto Bizzarrini, built their first prototype: the Pichio. In 2002, the team won the Gram Am Championship and in the following year, it presented the first Daytona Prototype, DP2. Picchio achieves the remarkable third place at the 24 Hours of Daytona. Today the company develops and builds both race and road cars.
