Quantum Sports Cars was established in 1987 by Mark and Harvey Wooldridge. The company is dedicated to building kit cars and some of its first models included the 2+2 Convertible, based on the Ford Fiesta Mk2 and the H4 based on the Fiesta Mk3.
In recent years the company introduced the Xtreme model, a lightweight two seater inspired by the Lotus 7 and Spartan's first rear wheel drive model; the Sunrunner, a beach-buggy based on the Fiesta Mk3; and the 2+2, the traditional model with a soft top.
In 2010 the company was acquired by Eddie Ruskin.
