about:
In 2006 the SR9 became the first Le Mans Prototype ever produced by British manufacturer Radical. Developed to fill LMP2 regulations the SR9 was able to compete in the American Le Mans Series, Le Mans Series, and 24 Hours of Le Mans. The SR9 was the first car from Radical to be built with a carbon fiber monocoque, weighing 775 kg.
The Radical SR9 has been powered by engines such as a Judd XV675 3400 cc V8 or a turbocharged Advanced Engine Research (AER) P07 2000 cc Inline-4.
