about this car

The RB6 is the Champion car of the 2010 F1 season. Sebastian Vettel became the youngest F1 Champion of all times in the Red Bull RB6 race car.

The RB6 was designed by Adrian Newey and driven by Mark Webber and Sebastien Vettel throughout the 2010 season. The car is an evolution of the RB05, which obtained good results in the 2009 F1 season.

Compared with the RB05, the RB6 design shows a more extreme V-nose, has highly-crafted sidepods and features the same shark fin engine cover.

According to Adrian Newey, Red Bull Racing's chief technical officer, “The car is very much an evolution of the 2009 car – there is a big family likeness. We tried to refine and evolve it rather than go to new concepts. As such, the car looks similar with elements such as the chassis and pull-rod rear suspension retained.”
