Robert Hannoyer, proprietor of a large, successful auto repair shop in Paris decided to enter the lucrative business of microcars. In 1951, he launched the Reyonnah, with a very ingenious ability to fold up its front wheels under the car in order to reduce its width and be able to be moved off the street through a garden gate, courtyard doorway, or even into a house.
