The Light Car Company Rocket was founded by Christopher Craft, an ex-racing car driver, and Gordon Murray, former Formula One’s designer of MClaren. The Rocket is an ultra-lightweight sports car, a combination of single seater design with motorcycle technology. When it was launched, in 1992, it was considered one of the fastest accelerating cars in the world. The company is still in operation but the Rocket cars are difficult to afford.
