Review

The idea for the Scootacar came to life when the wife of one of the Hunslet Engine Company's directors complained about how difficult it was to park her big Jaguar and asked for a smaller car. The car was nicknamed "the telephone booth" and it could carry up to two passengers but the second passenger had to sit behind the driver.

This car was part of the The Bruce Weiner Microcar Museum that included almost 200 cars. The collection grew for 15 years and was featured in its own museum in Madison, Georgia. The owner of the collection, Bruce Weiner, decided to sell it in auction in the beginning of 2013.
