Scott Autocar Company was founded by Alfred Angus Scott (a prolific inventor) in Bradford, Yorkshire, UK in 1915. The company produced only one model: the Sociable or Autocar, a three-wheeler of good quality and superior design. Alfred Angus Scott, the founder of the famous Scott Motorcycle Company, died in 1923 and the Scott Autocar Company soon faced serious financial losses and closed its doors in 1931.
