The Artega SE (Sports Electric) was first presented at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. It is an electric version of the Artega GT and currently still a concept vehicle under development. The two-door sports coupé is intended to compete with the Tesla Rodaster and Fisker Karma once entering the market as production vehicle.
With the introduction of this vehicle, Artega want to demonstrate the possibility of combining sustainability and the performance of a sports car. The 280hp electric motor is powered by a 37kWh, 350 Volt battery which provides the vehicle with a range of 200 to 300 km. Although the electric model weights slightly more than the Artega GT, it accelerates faster, from 0 to 100 km/h in 4,3 seconds.
Artega predict the price of the Artega SE to be approximately 150,000 Euro.
