The second generation Alhambra from Seat is a multipurpose vehicle fit for the family needs but also the demand of the high-mileage business driver.
The 2010 Alhambra increased in both length and width, 22 cm and 9 cm respectively and the seating concept in the new generation saw significant changes. The second and third-row seats can be sunk into the vehicle floor with the help pf the “Easy-Fold” system. This technology gave the Alhambra more storage area without having to remove the seats.
The Alhambra design follows the Seat DNA, with its arrow-shaped bonnet, grille and distinctive front skirt continuing the Arrow Design. The sliding doors have been integrated in the side profile of the MPV, with the rear end featuring the spoiler on the edge of the roof, the low-reaching rear hatch and the expansive light clusters.
The engine lineup for the new generation of the Alhambra is composed of two TSI and two TDI powrtrains, all equipped with direct fuel injection and turbocharging. While the TSI units deliver 110 kW/150 hp and 147 kW/200 hp, the two diesel engines produce 103 kW/140 hp and 125 kW/170 hp. The engines are also fitted with efficiency technologies such as the stop/start system and brake energy regeneration, which enhances the MPV’s fuel economy. The Alhambra 2.0 TDI with 103 kW/140 hp has an average fuel consumption of only 5.5 litres and CO2 emissions of 143 g/km.
Offered in Reference and Style versions the Alhambra is produced in Palmela, Portugal.
