A new 1.6-liter TDI CR engine with 105 hp was added to the Seat Ibiza 5-door and SC models. Spanish carmaker Seat claims that lower CO2 emissions and fuel consumption levels were a priority for the new TDI CR units. One of Seat’s main goals in the engine development is to continuously improve performance while reducing consumption and emission levels, as well as eliminating as much noise as possible. According to the company, the Ibiza has become “one of the most ecological models in its segment”.
The effort to improve Ibiza's efficiency is stated in the following values: Ibiza's fuel consumption is estimated to be at 5.1 l/100km in urban cycle, 3.6 l/100km in extra-urban cycle and 4.2 l/100km in combined cycle. According to Seat co2 emissions levels are set at 109 g/km.
Powered by a 1.6-litre diesel engine, this 3-door hatchback has a power output of 105hp and produces 250Nm of torque. With a top speed of 188km/h it accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 10.4 seconds.
