Skoda debuted the third generation Octavia Combi at the Geneva Motor Show on March 5 and add a 4X4 model with the fifth-generation Haldex all-wheel drive system from the Golf 4Motion.
The Combi adds 90mm (3.5in) to the length, 45mm (1.7in) to the width and 11cm (4.3in) to the wheelbase compared to the last generation Octavia Combi. The growth has given the car class-leading 73mm (2.9in) rear legroom and class-leading 610 liters (21.54ft³) rear cargo space or 1,740 liters (61.45ft³) with the seats laid down.
The style is basically the same as the standard car. The front is identical, but the roofline sweeps down slightly to the rear, and the taillights wrap around the sides of the d-pillars.
The rear cargo area comes with a double-sided floor mat, net restraints and bag hooks. Up front, buyers get a waste bin, a holder for multimedia devices, and an ice scraper.
