Skoda Octavia (Modern) (Czech Rep., 1996-2004)

In late 1996 ŠKODA revived the name Octavia for a new mid-­size model and the company's first car offered with automatic transmission. The launch of the Octavia I marked the first time that ŠKODA ever had two models in production at the same time and the first model with more than 1 million produced vehicles.
