Superformance is best known for their replicars of iconic models that are no longer is production. SPF, as it’s also known, was created in 1996 by Jim Price. In 2005, the company was sold by Hi Tech to Lance Stander, who also owns Hillbank Motor Coporation, one of Superformance oldest dealers. Lance Stander then founded Superformance LLC. Hi Tech, based in Port Elizabeth South Africa, remains the manufacturer of Superformance vehicles which are built under contract.
