that it unveiled at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Nissan admits that it is not ready to produce a hydrogen fuel cell in large quantities, but the fuel cell in the TeRRA is functional.

. Two separate electric motors power the rear wheels, one in each wheel, and are linked to the fuel cell electrically. That means that there is no driveshaft and therefore no hump in the rear.
"Our challenge was to take Nissan's strength in SUVs and crossovers forward into the zero-emissions era, fuel cells being our new frontier in zero emission mobility.
