With Rush either out or coming out soon in theaters around the world, it is time to find a new car movie to look forward to. Need for Speed, based on the long-running video game series of the same name, might not have the pathos and racing history of Rush, but it makes up for it with very expensive cars racing around tight roads, blowing up and a little gunplay as well. 

The plot for Need for Speed is pure pulp and concerns a muscle car mechanic and street racer, played by Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul, being framed for a crime he did not commit. When he gets out of prison, he is determined to find who is responsible and gets involved in a cross-country race involving an array of hypercars.
