second theme park will be launched in 2016. The Italian brand has confirmed that a new park and a new hotel will be built at the resort PortAventura and will be ready for inauguration in 2016.

The new theme park will be named Ferrari Land and its construction will involve an investment of around 100 million euros. Located near Barcelona, PortAventura annually attracts nearly four million visitors, with half coming from outside Spain. The new attraction will probably bring even more tourists to the resort.

According to the plan unveiled the Ferrari Land will feature the highest and fastest vertical acelerator in Europe. The park will also count with a five-star hotel with 250 rooms, restaurants and a driving simulator.

The Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi has been opened for four years, since 2010, and features a number of attractions and exhibits some of the most famous cars of the Italian. In addition the park also has a miniature racetrack and a roller coaster that Ferrari claims to be the fastest in the world.
