The Camry first went on sale in 1983 and has been the bestselling car in the US for the last 11 years. That represents 20% of all Toyotas ever sold in the US. This year is also the Camry’s 30-year anniversary in the US.

Of the 10 million Camrys made, 6.4 million are still on the road after seven generations.
The Prius has also hit a major milestone with three million sold worldwide since launching in 1997. It has been the car that heralded Toyota’s move towards cleaner vehicles. For the 2013 fiscal year, Toyota has budgeted 890 million yen on developing new environmental technology.
