Mercedes Continues to Celebrate SL's 60th Birthday at Nürburgring Classic

at vintage races all over Europe this summer. For the Nürburgring Classic on August 10-12, Mercedes is bringing the earliest surviving SL among other important SLs. 

Classic Mercedes clubs from around Europe will meet at the track for the event, and Mercedes estimates that they will bring over 100 cars. Mercedes itself will bring the earliest surviving SL. The car was the second SL ever built, and it was completed in 1952. The first car no longer exists. The car was recently restored, as well.

The next big stop for Mercedes Classic will be at the Goodwood Revival where Mercedes will bring classic Silver Arrows grand prix cars and race them against Auto Union and Maserati grand prix cars from the same period.
