Spider.
Rod Stewart bought his Countach in June 1977 and shortly later moved to California. To bask in the sun, he had importer Al Mardikian convert the car into a roadster, switch it from right- to left-hand drive and added blended fender flares.
Stewart then moved back to London and brought the car with him, and now it is for sale in France. It sat unused until 2002 when the second owner bought the car and restored it. Since then, he has driven it 3,000km (1,864 miles). The odometer reads 11,800 miles (18,990km).
The car has a removable targa-style top and detachable side windows. Mardikian also added the fender flares and larger wheels to make it look more like the LP400SLamborghini Countach LP400SItaly, 1977 > present1 photo
