concept in Geneva.

The Friend-Me is meant to show the future of Nissan design for interiors and exteriors. The exterior combines design queues from sports coupes and crossovers. At the front, it has the V-shaped grill that is gradually being added to new Nissan models. The rest of the styling combines flowing lines with angular creases. Other curious design features include no B-pillar and a floating C-pillar that make it appear that the roof is unattached to the top of the car. At the rear, it has practically triangular taillights and hidden exhaust pipes.

The interior of the Friend-Me features two infotainment displays. The first is at the traditional front location, and the second is mounted almost horizontally between the rear passengers. The instrument panel is also an LED screen with a central speedometer with other gauges to each side.

Nissan has not shown anything beyond a teaser for the new Rogue yet, but if the teaser follows the Resonance concept as much as it seems, then it will have a V-shaped grill, angular headlights and heavily creased styling.

It will also add more options for the NoteNote 2Nissan Note 2Japan, 2012 > present24 versions

Nissan has set a goal to be the largest Asian brand in Europe by 2016, and it believes that it is on track to meet the goal.

"Despite the down turn in the overall market, Nissan attained record market share last year and we are on target to match that achievement in 2013," said Guillaume Cartier, head of marketing at Nissan Europe.
