high performance S range is about to get smaller – in physical size at least. It will reveal the S1 in March at the Geneva Motor Show and have it on sale in Europe in the summer.

The S1 will be powered by a 230hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that is also used by the S3S3 2.0 TFSI S tronicAudi S3 2.0 TFSI S tronicGermany, 2012 > present28 photos
. Quattro all-wheel drive will be a standard feature, and a dual-clutch transmission will be available.

will be relatively minor. It will have larger intakes at the front and deeper side sills.

Audi has not said whether the S1 will be limited to one body style of the A1 or whether it will be offered on both the three-door and five-door versions.

with a 2.0 TFSI engine with 256hp and a six-speed manual transmission, but it was limited to 333 units. It could reach 100km/h in 5.7 seconds. All of the cars came in Glacier White Metallic paint with a gloss black roof. The cars carried the high price of 49,900 euros, about 10,000 euros more than Audi charges for the current S3 hatchback and over 30,000 euros more than a base A1.
