in Woking, the British brand has revealed the performance data and confirmed prices ahead of the world premiere of the model at the Geneva Motor Show.

According to McLaren the new 650S accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.0 seconds and can reach 200km/h in 8.4 seconds. The quarter-mile (400m) is completed in 10.5 seconds and the announced top speed is 333km/h. With this performance, the 650S is a second faster reaching 200km/h than the iconic McLaren F1McLaren F1United Kingdom, 1992 > present7 photos
, and 0.6 seconds faster in the quarter mile.

and the and uses the knowledge gained in the development of both models as well as in 50 years of high-level motorsport competition. Available in Coupe and Spider versions, the 650S was designed and developed to provide the ultimate balance to the driver on road and track. The active aerodynamic systems, which feature in both the 12C and P1, were developed and tuned to ensure the best performance in the 650S.

Despite the high performance of the McLaren 650S, the model does not put aside the efficiency and has an average consumption of 11.7 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 275g/km, making it one of the most efficient models in its category.

The McLaren 650S also has a high level of luxury specification. Carbon ceramic brakes were put behind exclusive '650' alloy wheels combined with Pirelli P Zero Corsa™ tyres, IRIS satellite navigation, Bluetooth, DAB digital radio, audio streaming and voice control are all fitted as standard. Regarding the prices of the 650S, McLaren announced that the price of the Coupé will start at €236.664 and the 650S Spider at € 260,896.
