, last year’s North American Car of the Year, will now be available as a coupe, and it will be on sale this summer.

“The 2015 Cadillac ATS CoupeATS Coupé 2.0 TurboCadillac ATS Coupé 2.0 T...United States of America, 2015 > present is a natural step in the brand's progression, and another fun-to-drive and technologically advanced product for a new generation of drivers extending our target groups,” said Uwe Ellinghaus, chief marketing officer at Cadillac.

The coupe rides on the same wheelbase as the sedan but with a unique roof, doors, rear fenders and trunk lid. The front fascia and front fenders have also been widened compared to the sedan. The front also wears Cadillac’s new, simplified logo that no longer has a wreath around the crest and is blockier.

The ATS gets standard projector headlights with LED running lights or optional full LED headlights. All models get LED taillights, and the Performance and Premium trim levels get LED illuminated door handles.

The ATS Coupe shares an interior with the sedan, but for 2014, it is available with an in-car 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot and color head-up display. The cars let the latest generation of Cadillac’s CUE infotainment with text-to-voice and Siri Eyes Free for iPhone users.

Standard cars get a MacPherson strut front suspension with a five-link rear and Brembo front brakes, but the optional FE3 sports package adds a Magnetic Ride Control suspension, mechanical limited-slip differential, quicker steering ratio, Brembo rear brakes and wider wheels.

The ATS is available with either a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 272hp and 295lb-ft of torque or a 3.6-liter V6 with 321hp and 275lb-ft. The turbocharged engine gets a 14% boost in torque over the ATS sedan and will get it to 60mph in 5.6 seconds. The transmission options are either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic. The manual can only be ordered with the 2.0-liter turbo. The cars can be ordered in either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.

Cadillac will announce pricing for the ATS Coupe closer to launch.
