More than a month away from NAIAS - North American International Auto Show - Porsche decided to reveal the new top-of-the-range 911 Turbo911 TurboPorsche 911 TurboGermany, 2015 > present and 911 Turbo S911 Turbo SPorsche 911 Turbo SGermany, 2015 > present. The versions receive engines with a 20hp output increase and also a retouched design and improved characteristics. Porsche will launch them in coupe and cabriolet variants.

The 911 Turbo is equipped with a six-cylinder biturbo engine with 3.8 liters and power has been increased to 540hp thanks to the modification of the admission of the cylinder head, new injectors and a higher fuel pressure. The 580hp output of the Turbo S911 Turbo S CabrioletPorsche 911 Turbo S Cabri...Germany, 2015 > present were achieved through new larger turbos.

The engine gets dynamic torque increase function, in order to improve response when the engine is in dynamic operation mode, which allows a reaction without a substantial delay when the accelerator is pressed.

Modifications in the engine have increased the speed of these versions and further reduced fuel consumption. The 911 Turbo S Coupé accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 330 km/h. The 911 Turbo911 Turbo CabrioletPorsche 911 Turbo CabrioletGermany, 2015 > present reaches the 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds and a top speed of 320 km/h. In terms of efficiency Porsche has managed to reduce combined fuel consumption by 0.6 liters per 100 km in all versions, with the coupes consuming 9.1l/100 km and the cabriolets 9.3l/100 km.

The new 911 Turbo and Turbo S follow the design of the current Carrera models, complementing the special and typical characteristics of the 911 Turbo. The new front with airblades and LED lights at the ends with double-stranded give the front section a larger stance in combination with the additional central air inlet. The profile of the new 911 Turbo is complemented by the new 20 inches wheels.

In the 911 Turbo S, for example, it now features seven-spoke wheels with central clamping, instead of the ten double spokes. Another new feature is the dimension of the rims of the 911 Turbo, measuring 9Jx20 at the front and 11.5Jx20 at the rear. This are exactly the same dimensions of the rims of the 911 Turbo S.

The new door handles have a laminated protection and the rear section was also crafted, which brings the three-dimensional rear lights with four points brake lights and aura-type lighting. The openings for the exhaust system at the rear, and the two double exits, have been repainted. The rear grille was also retouched.
