"For sure it's coming back this year with the 4C. With the Alfa Romeo 4C, we are finalizing the car now, so it should be here this year," said Marchionne at the North American International Auto Show.

Sales in Europe will also start this year. 

Production of the two-seat sports car is slated to start in May. However, Alfa Romeo has yet to show a production version of the car. Previous concepts had used an turbocharged version of Alfa Romeo's 1750cc four-cylinder that produced 300hp.
