Both versions stay below the flagship Giulia Quadrifoglio although it gets the Q4 all-wheel drive as well as extra weight for better handling.

 

The Giulia Veloce is distinguished by a more sporty interior as well by the addition of a new rear diffuser, dual exhaust outlet and the specific front bumper. The exterior design can be completed with 19-inch wheels as an optional.

Giulia AE – Advanced Efficiency

 

Alfa Romeo will also be revealing the new AE versionAlfa Romeo Giulia AE 2.2 ...Italy, 2016 > present. Distinguished by a specific badge on the tailgate, this version is based on the 180 HP 2.2-litre Diesel engine with 8-speed automatic transmission. 

 

Thanks to a retuned engine with a low-pressure EGR valve, an air-water intercooler, a secondary engine cooling circuit in addition to the primary circuit, and specific gearbox ratios, the AE will be known by its efficiency with an announced combined consumption of 4.2l/100km and low emission levels at 99g/km of CO2.

 

The aerodynamic coeficient has also been lowered to 0.23 with a 5mm heigh reduction and specifically-designed alloy wheel rims. The Giulia AE will also be fitted with specific 205/60 R16 tyres for reduced rolling resistance. The efficient version will be able to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 7.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 230km/h.
