is getting Connected Apps from Apple that allow iOS users to sync some of their apps with their car and use them from the car's infotainment system.

Cars equipped with the Radio MINI Visual Boost or MINI Navigation system can add Mini Connected as an option.

For now only a few selected apps will work with the system, but BMW plans to add more. Glympse allows users to exchange text messages with friends and inform friends with the app of their location with live, moving detail. Users can set specifically who can see their location.

Mini Connected also supports Foursquare, Audible, TuneIn Radio, Rhapsody, Facebook, Twitter, RSS readers and Google services. Mini is adding support for more services all of the time.
