continues to leak out information about the third generation carMINI VisionMINI (BMW) MINI VisionGermany, 2013 > 2013 one drip at a time ahead of its November 18 debut. The latest information looks at the new technology that will debut on the car, including the new infotainment system and available head-up display.

The head-up display on the Mini is projected on a small glass display just below the windshield. It includes the warning displays for the collision warning, pedestrian warning system, city brake function and parking assist. The actual display for the reverse camera is in the center console.

The next generation Mini will also get a camera-based adaptive cruise control system and traffic sign display. At night, the camera automatically switches between the high- and low-beams when it detects an on-coming car.

Mini is promising in the future that it will launch a car-to-car communication system for the Mini, but it will not be available at launch.

The new Mini will be revealed at the Oxford factory and in London on November 18 and be shown at the LA Auto Show and Tokyo Motor Show on November 20.
