is scheduled to go on sale in Europe in early 2014, and the car will be the first in Honda's range to get rear adaptive dampers. It will be the first Honda car in Europe to get the system.

The rear adaptive damper system is meant to improve rear stability and driving comfort in varying conditions.

“By introducing the technology in this format, we expect many customers will be able to experience the benefits of this advanced system,” said Adrian Killham, Civic Tourer project leader.

The Civic Tourer is focused on Europe and has been developed and designed there specifically for European roads and drivers. It will be built in the UK and debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
