Vemac, also known as Tokyo R&D, is a Japanese carmaker founded by Masao Ono. Vemac produces high performance cars. The first automobile produced by the company was the Caldwell, a racing car successful in Japan. In 2000, Vemac launched its road version of the Caldwell, the RD180. Since then, other models have been released, all exotic sports cars.
