Veritas was a notorious car manufacturer founded in West German after the World War II. The company re-built and tuned pre-war BMW cars rebadging them as BMW-Veritas. However, despite the car’s success on the tracks, BMW opposed the use of its brand and the cars started to be simply Veritas. Nowadays, and after decades of discontinued production, the Veritas brand was revived by Vermont AG with the RS III Roadster.
