about this car

The Amarok Canyon was unveiled at the 2012 IAA Commercial Vehicles Show in Hanover. The major upgrades include 17in all-terrain wheels and tires, a lamp bar, styling bar and interior upgrades. The Canyon starts as the Trendline trim of the Amarok. It is painted in a bold red/orange paint that VW called Copper Orange. Volkswagen also smoked the rear lights; added a cargo cover and added underbody guards as well. It is powered by two tunes of the 2.0-liter TDI diesel with either 179PS or 140PS. Both come with all-wheel drive.

The body kit adds body color front and rear bumpers and more pronounced wheel arches. Volkswagen has also added roof rails, side strips and underbody guards. The interior is two-tone green and black on the seats and door inserts. The steering wheel, hand brake and gearshift are covered in leather.
